Julius Olaoluwa, the visionary behind Mercy Night Club, traces his motivation to his upbringing in Abuja, where he lacked a permanent home. His cherished role as a father to Mercy and Jovilius profoundly impacted him, prompting the name “Mercy Night Club” and inspiring the foundation “Jovilius Heart Foundation,” named after his son. A respected figure in the entertainment and music industry, he has nurtured many of today’s prominent celebrities. In an interview with our reporter, he reveals his journey of struggles, highlighting the exceptional nature of Mercy Night Club within Nigeria’s club scene.

 

Born in the late 80s, Julius hails from the Yoruba-speaking part of Edo State. He completed his primary education at Baptist Nursery/Primary School Lokoja and pursued secondary education at Federal Government College Ugwuolawo in Kogi State. Tertiary education led him to LASU (Lagos State University), where he earned a BSc in Mass Communication in 2012. A dynamic and ambitious individual, he has collaborated with distinguished figures in Nigeria and beyond, embodying determination and a strong work ethic. Business acumen and industriousness are integral to his character, enabling him to create something remarkable from humble beginnings.
