Cindy Clemishire’s Journey: From Silent Struggle to National Advocacy

A Career Rooted in Service
From the start, Cindy Clemishire’s life has been guided by one principle: helping others. As a child, she dreamed of becoming a nurse. But fate introduced her to a different path — real estate.

“I became intrigued with the career of a realtor when I bought my first home in my early twenties,” Cindy shares. “Once I knew it was for me, I got licensed — that was in 1993.”

That same drive to help would later fuel an even more personal mission — speaking out about the trauma and grief she once kept private.

Answering a Higher Calling
Cindy’s leap into public speaking and coaching didn’t happen overnight. It came after witnessing the impact her story had on others struggling with abuse, rejection, and loss.

“When I saw how my public story gave hope, I knew it was time to say yes to the journey ahead,” she says.

Her voice became a beacon for those still living in silence — and her journey continues to inspire others to speak their truth.

Still Discovering Her Brand
Cindy admits she’s still developing her personal brand. She approaches this process with humility — and transparency.

“I don’t feel like I have a brand yet,” she says candidly. But what she does have is authenticity — and that, many would argue, is the most powerful brand of all.

The Day That Changed Everything
June 14th became a milestone. On that day, her story was shared publicly through an article — and the response was overwhelming.

“It opened my eyes to how many people across the world are dealing with abuse and shame,” she says. “It made me realize we’re not alone in this.”

Advice for the Road Ahead
For those just starting out or struggling with momentum, Cindy’s advice is straightforward: “Keep going. Reach out for help. Most people are happy to offer support and share their experiences.”

She believes community and conversation are the cornerstones of long-term growth.

Balance in the Midst of Purpose
Between coaching, advocacy, and parenting, Cindy keeps herself grounded with intentional practices — early mornings, quality family dinners, and a commitment to health.

“Quiet mornings and a close circle of friends help me stay centered,” she says.

Standing for Justice
Earlier this year, Cindy spoke before the Texas House Committee to help pass Trey’s Law, a pivotal moment in her advocacy journey.
