For many entrepreneurs, success begins with spotting a market gap. For Ashley Miers, it began with confronting a much deeper void: her own struggle with depression, anxiety, and self-worth. What could have ended her story instead became the blueprint for building brands that amplify wellness, creativity, and resilience.
Turning Pain Into Purpose
In her early years in Los Angeles, Miers launched Violet Vista Ventures and pursued acting, music, and freelance work. Her 2010 album Aftershock was more than a personal milestone—it became a platform for advocacy. Partnering with Mental Health America during its release tour, she raised awareness around mental health and donated a portion of proceeds to support the cause.
But behind the advocacy, Miers was still fighting her own battles. “I engaged in many self-defeating behaviors,” she admits. “The biggest challenge I faced was truly myself.” Through therapy, yoga, and eventually motherhood, she began rewriting her story.
Coaching Women to Rise
That journey became the foundation of Ashley Miers Health, her coaching practice built on the principle of transformation. Her 12-week program, Transcend the Turbulence, guides women through stabilizing their mental health, reclaiming self-confidence, and creating actionable paths toward their goals.
“The more I’ve learned to love myself, the more successful I’ve become,” she says.
Expanding Into Media and Music
In 2023, Miers returned to her creative roots with Dancing in the Kitchen, a YouTube series blending food, music, and mood science. With more than 20,000 subscribers and Roku distribution, the project is already gaining traction as she pursues opportunities with Netflix and other major platforms.
“We want to be a force for positivity in a media climate that often feels dark,” she explains.
A Vision for the Future
Through her mastermind UPLIFT, Miers is helping women become authors, artists, and entrepreneurs—building not just dreams but sustainable platforms. Her long-term vision includes scaling her speaking career and turning Dancing in the Kitchen into a household brand.
For Miers, the ultimate success isn’t about fame or followers. It’s about empowerment. “If I can inspire even one woman to step into her worth, everything I’ve endured becomes worthwhile.”Explore Ashley Miers’ work:
