Today we’d like to introduce you to Ciro Evangelista.
Tell us about what you’re working on at the moment that you would love the world to know about. Give us as much detail as possible!
I am excited to announce that I have partnered up with big talents in the music industry to launch a production company called House of Evangelista. The company is a Public Benefit Corporation (PBC) focused on empowering the LGBT+ community worldwide. The idea came during an extended trip we did to Puerto Rico at the beginning of this year. Same time when the new elected governor Pedro Pierluisi declared the first state of emergency in light of the gender violence on the island. We aim to follow the status of equality rights around the world with knowledge we gather from other social organizations such as the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) to tackle the issue where it was created. All this help we aim to bring would only be possible by promoting powerful events for thousands of guests to have an incredible elevated experience while helping the LGBT+ community where they need it the most.
Is there anyone in your life you’d like to shout out that has helped you get to where you are? How have they helped you?
Absolutely! The first inspiration for House of Evangelista came from the media and my family which ties back to Linda Evangelista, the famed 90s supermodel. Our family is originally from a small village called Pignataro Interamna in Italy and that’s where my second inspiration lies. This family has always believed in my dreams and determination and most importantly, they have unconditionally supported me regardless of my sexual orientation. So I am thankful for the love I get from my family and for Linda for making our name known to the world with her remarkable career in fashion. She is adored by the LGBT+ community and her support to us has made an everlasting impact.
