Exclusive Interview with Eric Guttmann

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eric Guttmann.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

My name is Eric Guttmann and I am a retired Naval Officer. As someone who has had to stay fit his whole life in order to keep his job, I noticed that after 40 years most people start having trouble with weight. The most common complaint I hear is that people in their twenties were able to easily drop “unwanted” weight through caloric restriction and increased physical activity. When these same people turn 40 this strategy no longer works for them. This is where Fat Loss After 40 comes in.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

During an operational flight overland Iraq we lost an engine.

“Man all the windows and let me know if you see a corkscrew trail of smoke, because that means we are being fired upon and we need to take evasive action.” With these words my life flashed before my eyes.

Obviously we were able to get out of Iraq and I felt like I was given a “second chance.”

Faced with the prospect of death, making my wife a widow and my children orphans, I made a decision from the deepest levels of my being that “I wanted to LIVE!”

This led to a deep dive into the worlds of health, fitness, and anti-aging, always experimenting on myself like a human guinea pig to see what actually worked.

At the same time I saw first hand how many of my peers were having trouble with weight issues. Specially after the holidays. A lot of people were putting on 5-10 pounds every year.

In the Navy, the Body Composition Assessment (BCA) is part of the Physical Readiness Test (PRT). Failing the BCA by being fat counts as a fail for the PRT even if you can do all your pushups, situps and the run.

Three failures of the BCA/PRT and you are kicked out of the military.

So failure is not an option.

However, with the Fat Loss After 40 program we have a viable solution to win the war on fat.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

“Fat Loss After 40” is the culmination of over five years of working with people all over the world.

It provides a simple system to reduce inflammation, reset your body, and restore health. Following this system most people drop anywhere from 10-15 pounds a month.

The book also provides clear explanations on how to conduct a customized liver cleanse that I developed and is not available anywhere else. It is common for people to drop 5-8 pounds over one day and half after their liver cleanse and feel absolutely fantastic and with increased energy.

I have helped hundreds of people all over the world. I have had many requests by clients, as well as those who have taken my workshop and seminars, to write this book, formalize my approach and share the structure of my Fat Loss After 40 program.

Here is what one of my personal coaching clients said (you can verify this on Amazon):

“This book is the real deal. Everything Eric says is proven and effective. I paid thousands of dollars to work with Eric and it changed me for the better. The liver cleanse is an amazing process. To be able to get this information for a few bucks is an incredible deal. Buy…”

If you are struggling with weight issues, then you can get the book on Amazon by searching for “Fat Loss After 40.”

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Whether its fat loss or business the best piece of advice to achieve success is:

1. Clearly define what you want.

2. Develop a plan for its achievement.

3. Take action on your plan while holding the object of your desire forefront in your mind.

4. When setbacks happen, (and they will happen) reassess your plan, take corrective measures, and recommit to action.

Regarding point number 4, there is an old military axiom that states that “no plan survives first contact with the enemy.

Or as Mike Tyson said, “every body has a plan until they get punched in the face.”

With Fat Loss After 40 you can “stay in the game,” even if you feel like you got punched in the face because there is no counting calories or insane amounts of exercise.

When it comes to achieving success with Fat Loss After 40 the best advice for is to follow the proven plan that:

* Prepares your mindset for success
* Follows an elimination diet to reduce inflammation and drop pounds
* Cleanses your liver of accumulated toxins to finally stop being fat
* Incorporates fasting into your program
* Uses a specific exercise to boost Growth Hormone (GH) and expedite fat loss
* Shows you the best supplements to optimize cellular energy

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

I like the way Earl Nightingale put it, “success is the progressive realization of a worthwhile goal.”

Many times when we “achieve” something that we have been working on for a long time, there seems to be a let down upon its achievement. “Is that it? Is that all there is?”

We realize we were happier during the hunt because being challenged brings aliveness.

With lack of challenge in life comes boredom and apathy.

So in my book, whenever we are on the path to achieving a worthwhile goal we are being successful. If you feel challenged and alive and are working your plan – you are being successful.

What’s next for you?

I will use proceeds of the book sales to provide free veteran and first responder care designed to prevent surgeries, get them out of pain, and minimize opioid dependence.

Before I left Active Duty I learned the system used by the US Navy SEALs to prevent surgeries, recover from injuries, and optimize performance. If you have read the book “Can’t Hurt Me” by David Goggins, it is the same system he referenced in the last chapter and that he credits with helping him recover and be able to run ultra-marathons after two heart surgeries.

I use this system to help vets and first responders get their lives back and help them heal soft tissue pain injuries.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?
