The name MintyPips comes from Samarah’s nickname in the trading space, which he later adopted the name and transitioned into the brand it is today. He also owns his brand of mint leaf rolling papers called Minty’s Wraps.
Aside from the financial benefits of his business, Samarah credits his real success to the students he’s been able to help quit their full-time jobs and achieve financial freedom. He finds no greater joy than being able to help others achieve the same level of success that he has achieved or more. MintyPips has allowed Layth Samarah to venture into different sectors of entrepreneurship, ranging from decentralized finance, video game development with MintySwap, and app development such as the Cryb app.
Samarah’s success in trading did not come easy. Many believe that you achieve instant success and make large amounts of money in the early days of trading however, it took Samarah over four years before he was able to create a profitable business in the market, which later allowed him to go full-time and no longer have to work odd jobs to make ends meet. Samarah also had to block out the naysayers and doubters that almost constantly swarmed his space. 95% of traders make little to no money when first starting, so it was up to Samarah to either join the 95% or become the exception.
Layth Samarah’s inspirations stem from icons such as Robert Kyosaki, Gary Vaynerchuck, and Tony Robbins. His biggest inspiration when it comes to the trading world comes from Quillian Black, who went from working at Target to becoming a multiple seven-figure trader who has helped keep Samarah motivated never to give up.
Samarah’s advice to young entrepreneurs is that finding the right mentor is crucial when it comes to trading.
