Turning Pain into Purpose
For Kristine Chilton, a Women’s Healing and Empowerment Coach and founder of I Will Find Joy, life’s hardest seasons became the blueprint for her purpose. What began as a personal battle with chronic illness evolved into a global mission to help women reclaim hope and happiness after loss, illness, and change.
“In 2007, I was struggling with chronic pain and feeling deeply disconnected—from my life and from others,” she recalls. “No one close to me could fully understand what I was going through. Finding online support communities changed my life, and I wanted to offer that same lifeline to others.”
She launched a Facebook page—I Will Find Joy—to share encouragement, insights, and empathy. That small step soon blossomed into a thriving digital community that now spans across social media and podcast platforms, touching lives worldwide.
Building a Brand from the Broken Pieces
Kristine’s path wasn’t smooth. “Every time I made progress, a new challenge appeared—technology issues, direction confusion, self-doubt,” she says. But instead of giving up, she sought mentorship. “I invested in coaches and joined the Speakerpreneur program. Working with Akbar Sheikh helped me find the courage to go all in.”
That commitment became her turning point. “Each action built confidence. I realized that waiting for perfection was holding me back. Once I acted, momentum followed.”
Lessons for Aspiring Entrepreneurs
Kristine’s advice for others? “Learn to clap for yourself,” she says. “Celebrate every win, even if no one sees it. If your reason—your ‘why’—is strong enough, you can overcome the hardest days. Ask for help when you need it.”
Her message resonates deeply with women redefining success through healing, authenticity, and courage.
What’s Next for I Will Find Joy
As I Will Find Joy continues to evolve, Chilton is focused on deepening connection—not just expanding reach. In addition to workshops, content series, and new collaborations centered around emotional healing and empowerment, she is preparing to launch a private, nurturing community where these offerings will come together—prioritizing safety, compassion, and authentic connection through shared experiences.
Set to open next month, the community is designed to support women seeking healing, clarity, and meaningful connection during life transitions—creating a space where members feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward together.
Through her website IWillFindJoy.com, social platforms @iwillfindjoy_ and Facebook, and her I Will Find Joy Podcast (Amazon | Spotify | Apple | Podbean), Kristine continues her mission to guide others toward healing through shared stories.
“For anyone who’s felt broken,” she says, “you can rebuild—Joy isn’t lost… it’s waiting for you.”
