The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced the candidacy of Katta Jagadish Naidu, son of former minister and senior BJP leader Katta Subramanya Naidu, for the upcoming assembly elections from Hebbal constituency in Bangalore.
Katta Subramanya Naidu, who was the IT Minister in the previous government, played a key role in the development of Hebbal constituency, by pioneering the “Agenda for Hebbal Development” (AHEAD) program. He drew a road map for developing the area, which included streetlight and water pipeline development, parks development, and infrastructure development. He also worked towards providing housing to the poor, and during his tenure, he organized 5000 houses for the needy.
Katta Jagadish Naidu, who has followed in his father’s footsteps, is a deserving candidate for the upcoming elections. Having seen the transformation that his father brought about in the constituency, he has a deep understanding of the issues faced by the people of Hebbal. His vision for the area includes improving the standard of living of its residents, developing its infrastructure, and providing more opportunities for its youth.
Speaking on his nomination, Katta Jagadish Naidu said, “I am honoured to have been given this opportunity to serve the people of Hebbal, and I am committed to continuing my father’s legacy of development and progress. If elected, I will work tirelessly to make Hebbal a model constituency and ensure that the people here get the best facilities and opportunities.”
The BJP hopes that Katta Jagadish Naidu‘s candidature will bring about positive change and development in Hebbal constituency, and they are confident of a resounding victory in the upcoming elections.
