Kayo Bracey Is Tackling The Music Industry In His Own Way

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kayo Bracey.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

It’s been a crazy journey, but I’ve enjoyed the ride. I consider myself a positive hip-hop artist, that has a passion to help other artists reach their goals. As a musician, there are so many times that you’ll need help or answers to complex questions, and you may not know which way to go. I’m just trying to be a trusted bridge for those people.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

As an artist, literally anything can be potential hurdles. I think I’ve been through them all; from getting scammed out of money, to having limited budgets, to feeling like there aren’t enough hours in a day. I’ve have to balance being a father, husband, having a full-time job and being an artist. That was a ton to juggle. I’m happy to be at a place now where I can focus more on my family and music.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

As an artist: Quite simply, God didn’t make another me, and I mean that with all humbleness (or at least mostly). I make music about things that the average person can relate to, as I’m the average person. There’s so many songs about money, sex, drugs, etc. I chose to go against the grain and focus on creating positive works of art, as well as making songs about everyday life. I have songs about paying utility bills, killing bugs that get into the house, calling out of work, grunting when sitting down, etc. REGULAR PEOPLE STUFF that anyone can relate to.

As a business man and CEO of Take Off Team Ent, I work to gain my clients trust. Like me, many of them have been burned and cheated in the past. It’s my goal to help them reach their goals, without losing integrity. In this world, money comes and goes. Your reputation however, will outlive you. Be sure to protect it.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

Small efforts on a daily basis yield big results. Focus on tackling one goal a day. It can be something really small. If you can do this on a daily basis, you will be able to create some momentum for yourself.

Secondly, don’t compare yourself to anyone. Everyone’s walk and journey is different. Create your own path, and allow yourself to do things your way. Just because something worked for one person, doesn’t mean it will necessarily work the same way for you.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success is being able to wake up in the morning and do whatever you’d like to do. Success if achieving an optimal level of peace, serenity and joy. Money can make you powerful. But some people with money are not happy. If you have “things” but not peace of mind, are you truly “successful”?

What’s next for you?

Welp, I completed my project “Regular People Stuff” which is out on all streaming platforms right now. I plan on releasing a few more singles this year. Additionally, I’m looking to expand my entertainment company, and bringing on a few additional artists.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?

People can connect with me on Instagram at www.instagram.com/kayobracey or my personal website at www.KayoBracey.net

Feel free to reach out to me. I try to make it a point to respond to every inquiry.
