A New Chapter in Community Leadership
Kimani Lee has spent much of his professional career helping people make more informed decisions around financial education, real estate, and homeownership. Now, the South Florida native is bringing that relationship focused mindset into a growing leadership role within his local business community.
Lee is supporting and helping pioneer NextGen, a new professional series owned by the Miramar Pembroke Pines Regional Chamber of Commerce and designed to engage professionals under the age of 40.
As part of his leadership role, Lee is helping organize the initiative and build connections among emerging professionals and the broader network of business and civic leaders throughout the region.
NextGen will formally kick off with the Chamber’s NextGen YPN Launch Party on September 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Supporting the Chamber’s Next Generation
The purpose behind NextGen reaches beyond adding another networking event to the calendar. The Chamber’s initiative creates an opportunity for younger professionals to engage with one another while gaining greater exposure to business owners, elected officials, and community leaders.
Lee is helping support that vision through his role in organizing and pioneering the series.
His mission within the initiative is to encourage meaningful collaboration among people at different stages of their careers. Those relationships can lead to mentorship, business opportunities, civic involvement, and a stronger sense of connection to the South Florida community.
Leadership Rooted in Broward County
For Lee, the opportunity carries personal significance. Born and raised in Broward County, he has built a career spanning financial education, real estate, and mortgage advisory services.
Today, he works as a Mortgage Loan Advisor with Level Mortgage LLC, helping buyers across Florida better understand financing and prepare for long term homeownership.
His involvement with NextGen represents another avenue for service. Rather than building something separate from the Chamber, Lee is stepping forward to help advance a Chamber owned initiative intended to serve a younger generation of professionals.
The September launch party will introduce NextGen to the community and begin establishing the relationships around it. For Lee, the leadership opportunity is about helping the Chamber create a space where emerging professionals can participate more actively in the business and civic conversations shaping South Florida.
