NC Hair Doctor Cherrelle Morgan, is Inspiring the Hair Industry with a Powerful Hair Oil & Knowledge

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cherrelle Morgan.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

My name is Cherrelle Morgan, also known as the NC Hair Doctor. I was born and raised in Durham, North Carolina. I am a woman of God, loving wife with 4 beautiful daughters. I started experimenting with hair at the age of 9, not knowing this would be my future career! I was a teenage mother at the age of 15 and 17. I was always determined to make something of myself no matter the circumstance, so my girls could have a better life. Dance and Culinary Arts was actually my first two careers I wanted but my life took a turn and hair seemed like the most suitable path for me and my girls at the time. Fast forward 10 years later, I am a licensed Cosmetologist, Owner and Founder of GlamourME Beauty Bar LLC. I specialize in promoting healthy hair, with a decade of experience, research and results in hair growth. I have formulated an all natural, top selling hair growth oil called “The Ultra Hair Crack”.It has delivered thousands of reviews and top tier results. Along with the oil, I have added many other natural hair products to my hair care line that will give you that salon experience you need at home for you and your family. I believe in glamorizing more than just your outer beauty.

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

During my career, I’ve had many obstacles but one major one I feel is when I ended up moving back home to do hair. It was great in the beginning and was only supposed to be temporary. As time went on, I believe I was in an unknowingly self depression. What I mean by that is, having an expectation for my business but not feeling like it was professional enough since I was in my home. There is definitely nothing wrong with running your business out your home, I just felt personally, I became too comfortable and low key lazy. My husband would always try to suggest to maybe finding another space, and of course I shot that down due to my own fears. Especially since it had been almost two years since working in a salon. Months later I started putting my fears and second guessing to the side, started hearing God more and trusting Him. God spoke and told me to start looking. All I asked of Him was if it could be around the same price I’ve paid before and private. God be the glory, I found a place the same day and got approved the very next! That boosted my spirit so much and my life as a business owner became so much brighter. I haven’t missed a beat since!

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I am a natural hairstylist who specializes in promoting healthy hair and hair maintenance. I believe that the effort we put into eating healthy and exercising should equal out to the same input for hair care. The phrase “You are what you eat” is definitely true. The foods we eat can play a part in scalp conditions, hair growth and hair loss. It is so important to consume your daily water intake, which is at least half of your body weight. Unfortunately, a lot of us do not contain that much, which results in unhealthy hair conditions. I honestly don’t feel I have competition, I feel there are just different hair stylist at different levels of education and strengths. If we could eliminate jealousy and envy, and replace it with inspiration and teaching we all could be so much further. A lot of individuals attract to me because I am just myself. I don’t gossip, I’m a free spirit, loving and caring woman that just loves to help the next without anything in return.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

First off, just know you have a purpose in life. I had to find my passion which led me to my purpose. That one thing that you love to do and wouldn’t mind doing for free if you had to, explore that. Give it a try, and see where it takes you. I told God when I started my journey that I always knew I was going to be somebody. I just didn’t want to be famous. If it was His will then I would, but if I had the choice, I didn’t want it. I just wanted to be known. I wanted to be known as that NC Hair Doctor that is saving hair lives and they just had to visit when coming to NC. I wanted to take the stairs instead of the elevator because me taking my time on the way up allows me to create that foundation and actually learn and understand from my mistakes. So I just want you all reading to know, it’s ok if you fall and it’s ok if you fail. The only way to WIN is to FAIL and the only way to FAIL is to WIN.

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success is what you make it. That word is NOT a reflection of your biggest accomplishment. Some feel that their successful when they have became famous or rich. But, Success is at any level of accomplishment to me. My time management has became a success. My organization has became a success. Those are examples of the little things we don’t give credit to. I mention that success is small or big things because sometimes the success of small things makes the accomplishments for the bigger things. We sometimes look at success as a big picture and that is what gets us discouraged. When you can acknowledge the smaller things, you will realize you have made it further than you thought!

What’s next for you?

I’m looking to start hair classes in future. Mainly for hairstylist and potential people that want to learn how to do their own family hair at home who can’t afford the hair salon all the time. I know how hard it can be to have a house full of girls and all that hair. So I want to help others and educate them with the right products, tools and techniques.

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?
