The 25-Year Old that’s Inspiring the Masses with Her Powerful Sweet Ice Jewelry Brand

Today we’d like to introduce you to Manon Dumazer.

It’s an honor to speak with you today. Why don’t you give us some details about you and your story. How did you get to where you are today?

My name is Manon Dumazer and I’m the founder of Sweet Ice Jewelry. I am both French and Black. I was born in the South of France in Avignon. I, however, was raised on the South Side of Chicago and coming from two different worlds, I’ve been able to view the world from two different perspectives with both of my cultures. Most of my jewelry is inspired by the Art Déco jewelry intertwined with the black hip hop/rap culture. I launched the Sweet Ice Jewelry Brand during the pandemic in August and ever since then it has been a huge success!

I’m sure your success has not come easily. What challenges have you had to overcome along the way?

One of my biggest challenges, was adjusting to the pandemic. It wasn’t easy to run the business and managing my mental health along with staying safe from the virus. You always want to take care of yourself and make sure your mental health is good in general, but I do believe the pandemic did make me stronger and allowed me to become more creative. Other then that, I really love the challenges that I face directly with my business, it keeps me on my feet and I really do love building it and icing everyone out.

Let’s talk about the work you do. What do you specialize in and why should someone work with you over the competition?

I love to design my pieces, I really have fun doing that the most! There’s no feeling like creating an Icy piece and then dropping it for others to want to rock it. I love being able to please my “Sweeties” (that’s what I call my Sweet Ice Jewelry community) and asking them what it is that they like and what they want in order to be Iced Out! In regards to collaborating, Sweet Ice Jewelry has a mission to not only create unique designs, but also staying focused with the community we like to support non-profit organizations that-support Black Women Communities.

What’s your best piece of advice for readers who desire to find success in their life?

My best advice would be to do everything that you do with intentionally and with purpose. Be kind. Believe in yourself, don’t expect anyone to believe in “your” dreams. Slow down, to speed up. There will always be a party, so make sure to set yourself up for success and work hard. Also, You got this! As long as your consistent, you will get there!

Speaking of success, what does the word mean to you?

Success for me are three things. I love seeing my customers excited about the jewelry they are about to receive, so I try to cater to their needs as much as possible, but also success for me is being able to inspire anyone to go after their dreams or loving what they do everyday. I love seeing other people win, especially bi-racial and black women! Our communities need that extra support and we need to be financial and mentally set.

What’s next for you?

We plan to collaborate with Macro and Micro influencers. We are excited to work with influencers that like to share positive encouraging messages that can inspire and uplift the community of underprivileged women. We plan to create new styles that have never been seen before and drop our new pieces on our website this upcoming month!

Finally, how can people connect with you if they want to learn more?

You can stay connected with us through Instagram, Facebook and Twitter @SweetIceJewelry ! Can’t wait to see you Iced out!
