Sajjad is a special person who teaches us about being strong, not giving up, and always looking for new ideas. He started from a simple life and is now making a big difference in the transportation business with his company, Abbed Transport. His story also reminds us how important it is to remember where we come from and to value our families.
Sajjad was born in India in a normal family. His dad worked in the transportation business, doing everything from moving wood to helping transport people who had just passed away. When his family had a chance to move to Australia for a better life and more money, they took it. The move was tough, but it made Sajjad stronger and more ready to work hard.
When he was 18, Sajjad had to grow up fast. He worked in warehouses, helped unload trucks, and even worked at fancy stores like Chanel and Tiffany & Co., opening doors for customers. He worked even harder when his parents split up while he was studying law at university. This meant he had to work more hours and he often had to sleep in trains or on tables while trying to pay all his bills.
After many years of hard work, he realized that he wasn’t getting far in his job, and his dreams were not coming true. One night while he was on a train, he had a big idea. He remembered his family’s history in the transportation business and his own work in warehouses. This made him think of a new path for himself.
He left his old job and started his own business in the trucking industry. He didn’t have any money saved up to help him if things went wrong. His girlfriend was his only cheerleader, always cheering him up when times were tough. Sajjad faced big challenges, like competing with bigger companies, dealing with changing fuel prices, and learning how to run a business. But he was determined to succeed and he believed in his team.
One big change that Sajjad made was how he treated his employees. Instead of punishing them when they made mistakes, he trained them again. This way, he was able to show them that he cared about them and wanted them to succeed. He tells other people who want to start their own businesses to trust their ideas, remember that tough times can make us stronger, and always stay focused on their goals.
Sajjad takes one day a week to relax and spend time with his family and friends, and do things he loves. He also likes to meditate, which helps him stay focused. He has not told us what his future plans are yet, but he says “big things are coming” so we can expect more great things from him.
Sajjad’s story is a great example for anyone who wants to turn their dreams into reality. It shows us that we can be strong and keep going, no matter what. Even though life shapes us, it’s our choices that show who we really are.
