Bridging Global Strategy and Everyday Execution
Achille Ettorre is not your typical tech leader. He’s not selling hype or pushing the next big AI trend. He’s doing something harder — helping businesses actually use artificial intelligence to solve real problems.
His journey began in the trenches of operations, with early-career roles at Walmart, DHL, and Fanuc Robotics, where he gained a deep understanding of systems, automation, and logistics. That foundation eventually led him to Loblaw Companies Ltd., one of Canada’s largest retailers, where he helped apply analytics and AI to enterprise-scale decisions.
“I saw the power of data at the highest levels,” Ettorre says. “But I also saw how hard it was for leaders to turn insights into impact.”
That realization became the seed of something new — a platform, a business, and a mission.
Reinventing How Businesses Understand AI
Ettorre now splits his time between two ventures. He helps run GTA Equipment Rentals, a family business he helped transform through automation and process design. He also leads The Digital Advantage, a strategic consulting and thought leadership brand that helps companies build data-informed, AI-driven decision-making cultures.
“I didn’t want to live in theory,” he explains. “I wanted to be in the real world where things either work or they don’t.”
That clarity, combined with years of experience in both boardrooms and job sites, makes him a go-to advisor for leaders looking to implement AI in practical, ethical, and human-centered ways.
Cutting Through the Complexity of Digital Change
For Ettorre, the problem with digital transformation is not technology. It’s communication. Too many leaders get lost in buzzwords, chasing tools without a plan.
“Clarity is everything,” he says. “The companies that win don’t have the flashiest tech. They have alignment.”
His keynotes, executive workshops, and consulting frameworks are built to deliver just that — clarity. Ettorre helps organizations define value, structure decision-making, and put systems in place that scale with intention.
Living What He Teaches
Outside the boardroom, Ettorre is a father of three and a firm believer in designing life with purpose. He plans around family first and builds his work in focused, intentional sprints.
“Burnout isn’t a badge of honor. If you want to lead well, you need to live well.”
That mindset is baked into everything he teaches, whether working with a local operator or a Fortune 500 executive team. His message is consistent — when people, process, and technology align, real transformation follows.
